To ensure that your online counselling sessions provide the best mental health support and are as comfortable as possible, I ask that you keep the following in mind;
Please log in a few minutes before your scheduled session. This allows you to check your internet connection and settle in without rushing
Confidentiality is essential. Choose a quiet, private space where you won’t be interrupted or overheard. Using headphones can help with privacy and audio quality.
Turn off notifications on your devices, close other tabs or apps, and let others in your household know you shouldn’t be disturbed during your session
Try to treat the session like an in-person meeting: make eye contact, avoid multitasking, and stay mentally and emotionally engaged.
Please avoid recording sessions during online counselling or virtual therapy, as these sessions are meant to provide confidential.
If there’s a technical problem during our session (like a frozen screen or lost connection), don’t worry. Just try to reconnect, or wait for your me to contact you. Having a backup plan (like switching to phone) may help.
Online counselling will take place on a secure video call platform. A link will be sent to your email address or phone up to an hour before your session is due to start. To book, please click the button below. Looking forward to working with you!
